How the Education Institutes should be preparing to welcome the UG and PG students from 15th February 2021: View Points of Professor Dr Sanjay B Chordiya Founder President and Chairman - Suryadatta Group of Institutes Pune

 

In this academic year due to the present situation government has already taken the cautious decision for inviting students on campus to start with

a.       From 5^th January 2021 std IX to std XII considering their board exams and practically.

b.      From 1^st February 2021 std V, VI, VII and VIII where the foundation of the students is to be strengthen.

c.       Now after 15 days, From 15 February 2021, they have invited the UG and PG students of various disciplines.

This decision is very much welcomed and We appreciate the decision taken by the government.

We feel the due care should be taken by : School College and citizens in terms of various protocols, rules and regulations such as  social distancing, sanitization stations at multiple places, health and hygienic condition of the campus, regular upliftment of the same etc.

Students should also observe guidelines and should take care of his own in terms wearing the mask, social distancing, avoid contacting, carrying sanitizer bottles, eating healthy and hygienic food (tiffin recommended), avoid oily and old food.

One student should sit on one bench, checking of the temperature at the entrance etc as per the rules and guidelines given by the concerned competent authorities.

Students should spend time in attending lecture or in the library or practical’s or labs or in reading hall.

Students, while coming to the campus should follow all the rules and regulations laid down by the land of the law. Should must wear mask and helmet if coming by two wheeler.

Students should install and regularly update the aarogyasetu app. Should also check their oxygen level etc.

In addition to above the parents also should do the periodical check-up of their child, as some students may require to go to the various class including hobby classes. It is also suggested as far as possible avoid children to send various other places

In addition to this we at Suryadatta has decided to form a health and hygiene committee comprising of the teaching, nonteaching and students including male and female under the chairmanship of the respective HOD / Principal to do the brain storming, update each other and sharing the videos important instructions and update from time to time and then they should forward it to the other students and staff ( only positive messages) and conduct regular awareness session in light with the preventive measures to be taken for the overall health improvement.

Carrying out the health check-up camp for the students, staff and the people staying in the vicinity of the campus as a part of Suryadatta Health and Hygiene Awareness Prevention Initiative.

We are going to appoint health and hygiene worriers in our every institutes.  This activity will be done on regular periodical basis so that importance and seriousness of the present issue and awareness will be created as a result there will be smooth working and healthy environment.

No of Students will be sitting as per the sitting capacity assigned in each classroom. Regular periodical surveys, extra people will be appointed, health and hygiene and cleaning is the most important parameter in the current scenario 

We also expect the student and parent’s cooperation in this regards in updating the things such as students overall schedule, their habits their medical history, their details of the friends.

No Visitors will be allowed in the campus other than govt authorities and except the important essentials vendors that we will be calling after college hours on the particular day which is earmarked. No Students friends will be allowed inside the campus who are not studying in the college.

Various boards are displayed are various locations of the campus premises. Periodical sanitization will be done in the campus. Entry of the outside vehicles will not be allowed for carrying out the materials or essentials things during the college hours.

We invite Motivational lecturer’s mentors to guide our students and people who are involve in the sustainable goals for creating the awareness and responsibilities towards the nation and environment and many more initiatives are planned such as Health and fitness Initiative, Hygiene and wellbeing Initiatives, de addiction Initiatives, Valour and Courage Initiative, Cyber Security awareness initiatives, Mind and body fitness initiatives, managing through Indian values initiatives, Heath Initiatives, Pastoral care initiatives, NGO and CSR and Edu Socio Connect Initiatives, Rehabilitation Initiatives, Food Bank, Cloth bank etc  which will have communicated from time to time.

We have also planned to install the steam stationed one on each floor, we working to ensure the safety of the same and prior permission for the same will be taken if required.

Electrical audit (earthing & lightning arrester), structural audit, fire audit, water testing, paste control has been done before starting the campus. Frequency of the rest room cleaning will increased. Periodically water, lights etc will be tested, we will Plants more trees to make the green environment. Optimum use of the natural lights. All the building and the campus area will be maintained neat and clean for the generations.

Students will be guided for the better manner and etiquettes through our Hotel Management Institutes, Session on the moral values, ethics and humanities etc will be conducted. Self Defence Classes will be starting soon.

We are already conducting yoga and meditation session through trained professionals and also the aerobics and Zumba now the frequency will increase to ensure the fitness asset.

The students will be involved in the in house life skills training as we have all the facilities and we have indoor and outdoor sports facilities gym etc subject to follow all the rules and regulations and if the permission available from the competent authorities.

In nut shell the students will be given exposure for the holistic development.  The Counsellor is appointed who will take care of this aspects.

There will be inclusive learning methodology where we try to learn every student to respect every one and will imbibe good human values among the students. Special session will be conducted for the rehabilitation of the addictions and to stay away from the bad habits and the addictions to the bad things.

Design based culture will be introduced right from the improving the students hand writing to creating the excitement for learning the various skills such as drawing, paintings and other hobby classes in general student overall fitness including mental and physical fitness will be improved.

We have recently signed the MOU with the X billion lab where in 24                                                                                           hours’ session will be conducted for each PG students on various topics such as Emotional Intelligence, Creative Thinking, Critical thinking, spiritual intelligence, reasoning and decision making, problem solving etc either in offline or online mode.

We have given number of internships to students in India and abroad The physical pre placement activities we have given as no students were ready to join till January end and now the regular placement activities are started. The committees have been formed comprising of the students and placement team. The placement brochure is ready and will be uploaded on our website and hardcopy will be also available. The team members will be coordinating with the regular recruiters and with the new recruiters including new start-ups which are immersed particularly during last one year. 

Suryadatta has formed 50+ voluntary Institutions and 50+ start-ups so the earn while you learn opportunity is available as per the convenience of the students on hourly basis, weekend basis, and with the mutual consent basis it will be given to the students in order to get the practical exposure. They are still many other activities which are planned. 

We observed that the overall Global market in the various countries and therefore we have come up with new language academy formed in voluntary basis which will be offering various languages such as Japanese, Spanish, German, Marathi, Hindi and Sanskrit will be offered to the students.

Any other suggestions and guidelines which is not mentioned here and known to the experts they are requested to kindly give their suggestion to us by email.  What all the points are essentials will be implanted and whatever is desirable will be taken care in the due of time.
